The eleventh Hunger Games-Part 3

With a little shock the plates started to move. They rose above the ground and for the first time the 24 tributes saw the arena. First they saw nothing, the sharpening light of the sun blinded them. They all looked down and still there was the sun. As their eyes adjust to the light they saw it was water. They stood in a big circle around a perfectly circle-shaped pond. On a small island in the middle stood the golden Cornucopia, filled with weapons, food and much more. The water was dead calm, with no wrinkling. A circle of bright green grass lay around the pond, here lay some weapons, food and more things that were less valuable then everything in the Cornucopia. At the end of the field rose high pine trees. The sounds of claws, wings and roars came out of it. Then the loud voice of the Alain Camelhughes began to speak. 'Welcome contestants, to the Eleventh Hunger Games' The voice came as a shock to the scared tributes. 'You'll be fighting each other for live. The most off you will die, only one will get out alive. You can't step of the plate, because the mines wont let you, you can't dive in the pond because then you'll be electrocuted. I now declare the Eleventh Hunger Games opened. May the odds be ever in your favour!' A loud gong sounded and everyone was even more scared. They started to yell to each other. Secret messages, threatens and even good luck wishes. After a minute that lasted a lifetime the second gong sounded and the games begun.

District 1: Lex: I turned, I couldn't swim! Shit! My whole pan to get to the cornucopia! I ran away, to the forest. I grabbed what I saw. A sleeping bag, a little knife and two packs of chewing gum. Then I disappeared in the depths of the forest.

District 1: Avecce: I've seen the pond. I already knew I didn't go to the Cornucopia, that was suicide. But now a lot will run to the forest. I turn my hands, the trees! I ran away, grabbing a black backpack. I look around, there, that tree will work. I run to it and put my gloved hands on the tree. I feel the grip. I started to climb as fast as I could. I look down. They could throw a spear if they saw me! Quick I go to the shadow side. I climbed as high as I can and hoping no one saw me.

District 2: Spark: What should I do? And then I see a spear laying a few steps ahead of me. I ran towards it. I grab it and it feels nice in my hands. I  look around. Everywhere I see people running and some swimming. Then I see a boy in front of me, he hadn't decided what to do. I don't know his name, but I think it's the boy from district 4. I throw the spear with al my power and I run away to the forest, while I grab some food and water. When I reach the first tree I hear a cannon blast.

District 2: Hope: I see the tributes run away and a few dive in the water. I shake like hell. Then look to the left and see Selene and Anvan talk. They run away. Stupid as I am I decide to follow them. I'll make sure I don't get to close, because I know then they'll kill me. But it beats being alone I think.

District 3: Anvan: I look at Selene and she looks at me. 'Who will we kill first?' She says with a terrifying cold voice. 'We need food and water first you know. Grab what you see and we'll go into the woods. Then we'll hunt them down.' I can't believe I said it. How can I be so cold? 'come on' Selene says and we run away.

District 3: Leka: Quick I run to the forest, I grab a sleeping back and some dried fruit. Then I reach the trees and I don't stop running. I hear cannon blasts and the tears run down my face. My foot gets stuck behind a branch and I fall. I roll down a hill. Then I feel cold water surrounding me. I open my eyes again and to see I'm lying in pond. I grab my bottle and fill at, then I hide in the bushes to wait for the night.  

District 4: Ansten: I fall on my knees. I have no idea what to do. I look at the tiny rope on my arm, my souvenir. Then I know, I look around trying to find a weapon and a easy victim. All the sudden I hear the wind behind me, but wait that's impossible. Then a pain that I've never felt before hits me. I feel my hands grabbing my back and feeling the warm blood. The spear didn't go right threw me, bit it went far enough. Again I fall on my knees. My vision gets blurred. I feel the blood run down my clothes. Then I fall with my face on the ground. Just before I can't see or hear anything the first cannon blast lets me know I'm the first loser of the games.

District 4: Selene: When the sound of the gong ended I turn to Anvan. 'Who will we kill first?' it sounds so cold I can hardly believe it's my voice. I can see in Anvan his eyes that he's afraid for me. He says something about food and water, then hunt them down in the woods. I agree 'Come on' I say. I look around, hoping to see another ally, but all I see is that fat child from district 2.

District 5: Ynnen: I heard the cannon blast and I see Ansten lying dead on the ground, their goes one of my allies. I see some of the tributes having weapons, then I look in the eyes of Kyth, one of my allies. I don't see anything left of him. I decide to run away, now I'm on my own. I follow Hope, I know she's going after Selene and Anvan, maybe I can joy them if I kill Hope. I run away grabbing a small sword and a yellow backpack. I already hear Hope sighing, an easy kill.

District 5: Allenne: There goes the gong, I dive in the water. I'm not a good swimmer but I saw something that gave me more strength. The water is nice and cold. It's very clear and I see other tributes in the water. I don't think they saw the caves. I go deeper and deeper. I feel I need air. Now I'm in front of a cave. I go in and there's a small room with air. I climb on the rocks and breath all the air I can till I cool down. I gasp, Around me lies food, a sleeping bag, weapons and even two small bottles with a deep green fluid in it. When I smell it I know what it is, and I know who I can use it. I smile.

District 6: Gheroum: 'NOW!' I scream, hoping that Calyphe heard me. I dive in the water and swim as fast as I can to the Cornucopia. I see a few tributes in the water. As I reach the island I run to see Calyphe. She's climbing out of the water. Then I see Syriss in the water. I look into her eyes. She shivers and tries to swim back. I grab a knife and I grab a rope and scream 'Grab it! We can use you!' 'Quick' screams Calyphe. She grabs the rope and I help her. I see she doesn't trust us. 'We aren't going to kill you, yet' 'I know, I saw it in your eyes.' 'Look for food' I push her towards the Cornucopia. I grab a trident and I try to find someone in the water. Then I see Kyth, he's in the water but clearly he can't swim. I dive in the water with my trident. He hasn't seen me. Now I'm beneath him, he still haven't got a clue. Then, with all the power I have, I stab him. I can't hear him scream but I see the water colouring red. I hear a cannon blast. Quick I swim back to the cornucopia. 'Good work' Calyphe says. 'Thanks' but I don't mean it, I killed someone, I don't know who I am anymore.

District 6: Calyphe: 'NOW!' I hear Gheroum scream. I dive in the water and quick I reach the cornucopia. I see Gheroum has already made it. Then I see Syriss in the water and I see that she can swim, I want her in my team, I think all the sudden. 'Throw her a rope' I whisper to Gheroum. Then I run to the other side of the cornucopia. 'Layica, here' She doesn't hesitate and she swims to us. Then I hear a cannon blast. I wait till she's here. Then we run to the other side and see Gheroum with tears in his eyes. In the water drives Kyth. I feel sorry for him, but rather him than me. 'Good work' and I turn away.

District 7: Arden: I look for Lara, I can't win, but she might. I run around the pond. Ayvan keeps her on the ground. His hands are around her throat. 'No you don't' I scream. I grab a rock and run towards him. I hit him on his head. Lara lives up. 'Run, now!' I say. 'Thanks, I will never forget  you.' She runs away. I watch her disappear. Stupid me. 'Thought it was that easy?' I feel a pain in my neck and the blood runs down. 'At least I saved her' I try to say. 'For now' Ayvan says. He follows the path Lara made. A tear escapes my eyes. I hit the ground. The cannon blast marks the end of my life.

District 7: Lara: I jump in the water, but then I see Gheroum and I know it was a bad idea. Quick I climb back on the shore. I get knocked down. I feel to strong hands around my neck. I open my eyes and look into the mad ones of Ayvan. I try to breath but I can't. I hear someone scream. Then a soft clap and the pressure on my neck goes away. I can finally breath. I see Arden, he hits Ayvan with a rock. 'Run, now!' I get up. 'Thanks, I will never forget you' I run away and hear a soft scream behind me, and a few seconds later a cannon blast. I know ot's to late and I don't look back.

District 8: Kevin: The gong goes, I turn around and run away. I wont follow anyone or try to kill someone at this point. I grab as much food an water as I can. I look to the left and see a girl climbing in a tree. I look at my gloves. Clever and I run into the woods. I look back, no one follows me. Then I climb in the trees. When I'm hidden in the leaves I start to look for the girl, she might think she's save, but I will find her.

District 8: Syriss: I jump into the water, forgotten about the swimming of Gheroum and Calyphe. Well this is my end, I think. Then Gheroum shouts at me. He throws a rope. I hesitate but I don't know what to do. I grab it and he pulls me to the shore. He throws me in the pile at the cornucopia to search for food. Gladly, I think, now I'm still alive.

District 9: Atolmo: I know I wont win, but I will take someone down with me, shoots in my thoughts when the gong goes. I look around and see Syriss is already in the water, but Annie still stands there. She turns around and sees me, she screams and try to get away. I already grabbed her and I let myself fall. I feel she's fighting. I laugh. 'You fat sick pervert' I look up and see Layica. 'She isn't even the half of you' She kicks me in the face, and again, and again. I roll on my side. It hurts so bad! She helps Annie and says something to her. She nods and run away. Then Layica turns to me again. She grabs a very big stone and I can see she's holding it above my head. I try to scream to stop her, but the rock already falls. I didn't even heard my own cannon blast.

District 9: Layica: There's the gong, I see Gheroum and Calyphe swim to the cornucopia. First stage of the plan. Then I run around the cornucopia to make a few kills are collect some useable goods. Then I see in front of me that fat Atolmo lying on the ground. I see a small hand underneath it. I get so angry I run towards him and yell at him. He looks up, flabbergasted. I kick him several times in the face. He rolls over. It's Annie, the little girl from district 10. 'I will let you go, for now, so run' She nods and runs away. I run to Atolmo, I grab a big stone. He tries to scream but I don't care. I let it fall and I turn away fast so I wont have to look. Then I see Calyphe and I swim to the island. There's the cannon blast. One down, I think.

District 10: Kyth: As soon as the gong goes I jump in the water. I thought I still could swim, but I was wrong. I turn around. I hear people scream. I hear someone jump in the water behind me. Oh no. I look back, but I don't see anyone. I need to get to the shore. As I reach for the grass I feel a pain in my stomach. To late. I scream. I still try to reach the shore, but it's to late and I know it. I swim in my own blood. I close my eyes. Just before I go under I hear a cannon blast.

District 10: Annie: I turn, should I run or swim. I can swim but maybe it better to run. All the sudden I hear something behind me. I turn and scream. A giant thing crashes over me. To late I realise it's Atolmo. I hit the ground so hard that I can't breath, then the weight of Atolmo blows the last air out. I wont give up, but I know it's to late. Then I stare in the bright sunlight. I get up and see Layica. She says something, I don't know what but I know she lets me go. I run away with my hands on my ears.

District 11: Tyrinn: I run towards Onue, she runs towards me. We grab each other hands. We disappear in the woods. 'Don't you think your girlfriend will be mad?' She asks. 'My girlfriend? I don't care, I just want to get out here, with you somehow.' I say 'Then I will think about her.'

District 11: Onue: I run, not sure which side I should go. I chose the good one and soon I see Tyrinn. He grabs my hand, as we agreed how we'd do it. I try not to look around but I still hear the cannon blasts. It has begun.

District 12: Ayvan: I look to the left and I see that little girl Lara. She jumps in the ater and tries to get out. When she's finally on the shore I try to kill her. I look in her eyes, she's afraid but still fights back. Suddenly I get a hard blow against my head. It gets black. When I open my eyes I see Lara running away and the one handed freak looking at her. I see a knife and grab it 'thought it was that easy?' And I stab him in his unprotected neck. He falls down. 'At least I made her save' or something like that the woos said. 'For now' and I follow the girl. She won't get away twice.

District 12: Caryl: I turn, knowing I should run. I turn, grab some goods. A knife, a brown backpack and some fruit. I will kill them in the woods, where they won't notice me. I grab some mud and leaves and then I'm the only one that really disappears in the woods.
